Show some face this autumn/winter

Lots of bold beauty looks came off the catwalk this season, and while we probably won’t be walking around with our entire faces painted with glitter (probably….), there are many great looks you can recreate at home.

Take a look at our top beauty trends for autumn/winter.

Glitz and Glam…

Glitter is well and truly back this season, and while the catwalk saw entire faces covered in the stuff, we’d recommend opting for a more demure version with sparkly eyeshadows and glitzy eyeliners

Bold colours….

Who says neon is just for summer?  Bold colour is a key trend this autumn/winter – especially on the eyes.  Many high street brands have already jumped on the brightly coloured bandwagon, releasing everything from eyeshadows to eyeliners.

Elongated lashes…

Yes, you read it right, lengthy lashes are back in fashion (think Twiggy circa 1965).  So, whatever mascara you’re wearing, make sure you wear lots of it!!  If you’re not a fan of the “spider leg” look, why not try your hand at false lashes to add extra length and volume.

The statement lip…

Perfect your pout this season as powerful lips are making an appearance over the winter months.  This trend is bound to get you noticed and the deep red and scarlet hues will make you feel daring and empowered.  Whether it’s a matte, satin or glossy lip, The Springs has you covered.

Prime time….

This season, it’s all about beautifully prepped skin.  Instead of layering makeup products, layer your skincare with moisturisers, serums and essences for a glowing and smooth complexion.

The ponytail….

Whether it’s low, high, smooth or laid back messy, the ponytail is the way to wear your hair this winter.  So stock up on hair ties and bobbles for this season’s most low-maintenance up-do.

Whatever your favourite beauty trend is, you can shop and find them all from top high street brands in Boots at The Springs, Thorpe Park this winter.

With Outfit, H&M, TK Maxx and Next, along with a whole range of other retailers and restaurants on the doorstep, why not head over for a spot of well-deserved retail therapy?
